In-line with the Thankful Series Coloring pages I’m posting over the next several days, I thought it would be great to have a craft to go along with it! It’s especially helpful since most kids have online classes and miss the classic art projects that come with the Thanksgiving holiday.
This is a simple craft that allows fun family time and a peek into the things that our kids care about. Click the button below to download this free Thankful Turkey printable craft. Enjoy!
What's Needed
- The Thankful Turkey Craft Printable
- Markers, Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
Gather your materials. Click on the green button above to print out the Thankful Turkey craft sheets in the image below.
Here's the fun part! Color the turkey and feathers any way you want! Note: You'll only need 9 feathers, but I added an extra just in case. 😉 On the blank outline of the turkey, write a list of things you are thankful for.
Grab your scissors and cut out the turkey, turkey outline, and feathers.
Arrange the feathers in the order you'll want them around the turkey.
Turn the turkey outline around and glue the feathers around the edge of the paper. Next, put glue on the back of your decorated turkey and glue it on top of the feathers. Try to align the bottom of the decorated turkey with the turkey outline shape.
Show off your Thankful Turkey to family and friends! Ask them what they are thankful for! 🙂
